Recall Alerts
Briggs & Stratton recalls YTL, Longli and Tiya Log Splitters powered by Briggs & Stratton 250cc engine models 15T232-0011-F8 and 15T232-1850-F1 due to safety hazard. An incorrect engine ignition coil and flywheel may lead to hard starting and possibly engine kick back, a potential injury hazard to the operator.
Briggs & Stratton recalls Snapper Rear Engine 33" Riding Mowers, model number 2691526. A faulty blade engagement lever can keep the lawnmower blade engaged after the release of the foot activated disengagement pedal, posing an injury hazard.
This recall involves model B4363GS fuel tank replacement caps made by Kelch/Bemis for Briggs & Stratton portable generators that use a plastic non-vented fuel tank. The fuel tank replacement caps are black and are missing the vent within the clear lens covering the fuel gauge. The fuel caps can be identified by visually inspecting the clear lens for a vent hole towards the bottom of the gauge. The caps are about 2.5 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches in width. Two 5.5 inch metal rods extend from the bottom of the caps to support a float that moves the needle in the fuel gauge. The fuel tank replacement caps have KELCH stamped into the bottom of the cap.
Briggs & Stratton Recalls Surface Cleaners Due to Injury Hazard. The surface cleaner’s spray bar can break and detach from the central hub, causing broken pieces to strike consumers, posing an injury hazard.
In the event of a kickback, the chain brake guard could fail to activate the switch intended to stop the motor, allowing the chain to continue moving.

Briggs & Stratton recalls Snapper, Simplicity and Massey Ferguson riding mowers due to injury hazard. The reverse-mow option switch can malfunction and allow the riding lawn mowers to unintentionally mow when being driven in a reverse direction, posting a risk of injury to bystanders.
